DAY 01 : ARRIVE IN NEW YORK - VISIT TIMES SQUARE (D)

Arrive at JFK airport. You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Manhattan. 

 

Experience Grand Hyatt New York, a world class New York City hotel located in a fashionable area of Midtown Manhattan that's considered by many travelers as their favorite area in New York. This luxurious hotel is located adjacent to the iconic Grand Central terminal. Times Square is less than 1 km away as is the Broadway theater district along with several museums and shopping on Fifth Avenue. Check in to the hotel after 3 PM (requests for early check in are at the hotel’s discretion and subject to availability at the time of arrival)

 

Meet your tour director at 7 pm in the hotel lobby to start the tour. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner at an Indian restaurant (walking distance). After dinner, spend time at Times Square, a busy and famous spot in the heart of New York City, also known as the "Crossroads of the World". Return back to the hotel. Overnight in New York City.

 

DAY 02 : NEW YORK CITY SIGHTSEEING (B, D)

Depart from the hotel at 8 am for your breakfast at an American restaurant. After breakfast, take a ferry ride from Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty Park and visit one of the most famous and enduring symbols of freedom and democracy in the world, the Statue of Liberty. In the afternoon, have an international lunch (on your own).

 

Later, make a quick stop at Wall Street to see one of the most iconic images of New York, the Charging Bull, which is a bronze sculpture that stands as the symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity. 

 

Visit One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower. Designed and built to be an engineering marvel, this is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere and is built on the site of the original World Trade Center complex to memorialize and rebuild following the destruction of the World Trade Center. Take the express elevators to the Observation Deck on the 102nd Floor for the ultimate view of the spectacular New York City skyline before making a photo stop at Ground Zero (entrance to the 9/11 memorial is not included).

 

Drive by Rockefeller Center, a famous Art Deco NYC  landmark located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Spanning 22 acres and featuring 19 commercial buildings in New York, Rockefeller Center is one of the most popular attractions in the city and is home to the legendary NBC Studios and the Saturday Night Live show.

Next, visit the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue. The iconic Apple Cube store first opened its doors in 2006, with Apple founder Steve Jobs personally welcoming customers to the retail store. It has since had more than 57 million people come and visit, which is more annually than other New York landmarks such as the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, according to Apple. Spend time at the store, discovering and trying out the brand's latest products.

 

In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant. Later, go on an illumination Tour of Manhattan in Open Double Decker Bus - where you enter historic Brooklyn to view the glittering Manhattan Skyline. Enjoy night time views and the ambience of the bustling districts of Times Square, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge and Lower East Side before returning to the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight in New York City.

 

DAY 03 : PHILADELPHIA - WASHINGTON D.C (B, D)

Get an early start to your day after breakfast and depart for Philadelphia (2 hours). The city played an instrumental role in the American Revolution as a meeting place for the Founding Fathers of the United States, who signed here the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the Constitution in 1787. Philadelphia also served as temporary U.S. capital while Washington, D.C., was under construction.

 

Upon arrival, enjoy an entertaining tour of the city in a double decker bus. See the city's important sites and landmarks on your tour route, as your expert guide mixes fun and history into an interactive tour experience. Travel from the Historic District to Museum District and numerous neighborhoods in between.

 

After lunch in Philadelphia, drive to National Harbor near Washington D.C. Rising from the banks of the historic Potomac River and just minutes from the nation’s capital, National Harbor is a waterfront resort destination unlike any other. The vibrant Waterfront District offers more than 75 boutique shops, restaurants and entertainment options along picturesque tree-lined promenades featuring a unique outdoor art collection by nationally and internationally renowned artists. Highly recognized for its iconic Capital Wheel, a 180-foot observation wheel offering panoramic views that include DC monuments; the Waterfront District includes an array of waterfront activities and events, as well as spectacular sunsets.

 

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner en route at an Indian restaurant before checking into your hotel. Overnight in Washington D.C

 

DAY 04 : WASHINGTON D.C SIGHTSEEING - HARRISBURG (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an expert guided city tour of Washington DC, where you will visit famous sights such as the iconic White House and the Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington and Vietnam Veterans Memorials. See all the key attractions in DC and learn about the history and trivia that surrounds the national capital on this interactive tour. 

Visit the White House Visitor Center as a part of your city tour. Featuring interactive exhibits, a large-scale model of the White House, tactile exhibits, and museum galleries, the Visitor Center provides a window into the Executive Mansion. Nearly 100 artifacts are on display, some for the first time—such as President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s desk.

 

Visit the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum to explore a truly wondrous exhibit of air and space vehicles - the largest exhibit of its kind in the world hosting over 60,000 artifacts ranging from World War planes to history of aeronautics. You will be given an hour and 30 minutes to view the exhibits in the museum.

 

After lunch on own, drive to Harrisburg. Enjoy some retail therapy after a long day of sightseeing at the Tanger Outlet Mall. Shop designer brand labels at low prices in factory outlet stores including Coach, Banana Republic, Fossil, Gap, Samsonite, Nautica, etc.

 

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant before turning in for the night at your hotel room. Overnight in Harrisburg.

 

DAY 05 : HERSHEY - CORNING - NIAGARA FALLS (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, tour the Capitol of Pennsylvania in downtown Harrisburg. The State Capitol is the seat of government for the U.S. State of Pennsylvania and is often referred to as a "palace of art" because of its many sculptures, murals and stained-glass windows, most of which are Pennsylvania themed. (Guided tour is subject to availability and timing)

 

After an inside peek at the political hub of the state, visit Hershey’s Chocolate World where fun and sweetness meet adventure and excitement for people of all ages. Experience the enjoyable Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour Ride.

 

After lunch, drive to Corning to visit the Corning Museum of Glass. This massive complex is home to fascinating exhibits on glassmaking, both as an art since ancient Egyptian days, and in the name of science. The contemporary art and design wing is the highlight, with a stunning exhibition of glass art and sculpture from the last 25 years. There are also live demonstrations of glassblowing throughout the day.

 

Next, proceed to Niagara Falls. Upon arrival in the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant before checking into your hotel. Later, experience the magic of the Falls at night, where you can see the Falls lit up in the colors of the rainbow.

DAY 06 : NIAGARA FALLS SIGHTSEEING (B, D) [No Coach]

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the world famous Niagara Falls for a true American experience. Spend the day taking in the spectacular beauty of the Falls through a variety of attractions and activities that are safe for children of all ages. 

 

Visit the Niagara Adventure Theater and watch an IMAX show on the Falls. Feel the power and see behind the mist, myths and mysteries of one of the most storied natural wonders of the world.

 

Experience the unforgettable Maid of the Mist boat tour, America’s most amazing boat ride since 1846! See the raging currents and hear the deafening thunder as you get close to the Falls. Feel the refreshing mist of 600,000 gallons of water falling before your eyes every second while you are taken into the center of the swirling mist.

 

Get up close and personal with the Falls with the Cave of the Winds trip, which takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible. Geared-up in a souvenir rain poncho and specially designed sandals, guests follow wooden walkways along Niagara River to the Hurricane Deck. Do not forget to take extra pair of clothes as you will definitely get wet.

 

In the evening, spend free time on own before enjoying a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Niagara Falls.

DAY 07 : NIAGARA FALLS - LAS VEGAS - LIMO TOUR (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out of the hotel before 11AM and transfer to Buffalo airport for your departure. Your driver will pick you up from the hotel based on your departure flight timing. Breakfast is not available if you are taking an early flight

Fly to Las Vegas (cost of flight is not included. You are free to book your flight on the airline of your choice)

 

Arrive at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport to begin your West Coast tour. You will be met by our representative at the baggage claim area and transferred to your hotel. 

Experience Paris Las Vegas, a French-themed casino hotel with a half-size Eiffel Tower, situated across the Strip from The Bellagio and in one of the best-rated locations in Las Vegas. Attractions within the hotel include an indoor Parisian street with live entertainment stages and shopping areas, plus a lounge with dueling pianos, nightclubs, and several restaurants. 

Note: For the July 23 and Sep 10 departures, guests will stay at Hotel Harrah's. Located across the Strip from Caesars Palace and a 3-minute walk from the Linq shopping promenade, this buzzy casino hotel also hosts popular live comedy, magic and music performances.

Check in to the hotel after 4 PM (requests for early check in are at the hotel’s discretion and subject to availability at the time of arrival. Supplemental charges may apply for an early check in and should be paid at the front desk during check in)

Meet your tour manager at 6 pm in the hotel lobby to start the tour. Dinner will be at Indian restaurant (walking distance from the hotel). 

 

After your dinner, explore the bright lights of the famous Las Vegas Strip in a stretch limousine where you’ll have an unobstructed view of the Vegas glitz and glamour. See the dazzling neon lights as you travel down The Strip and roll past casinos, wedding chapels and historic landmarks into the heart of downtown to see the breathtaking Fremont Street show. You will be vowed by 12 million LEDs flashing under a four-block-long canopy, complete with zip liners flying overhead. Make a regal entrance back at the hotel in the Limo once your tour is done.

DAY 08: FREE DAY OR *OPTIONAL* GRAND CANYON TOUR (B, D)

Today is a free day to explore the attractions at Vegas on own. 

If you have booked your Grand Canyon tour with us, our Tour director will drop you off at the pickup location for your tour. Breakfast will be packed for guests taking the Grand Canyon coach tours. If you are not visiting the Grand Canyon, we will hand out $20 cash per person towards breakfast.

You can choose to purchase one of the following optional Grand Canyon tours while booking your tour with us (the cost of the optional tours is not included in the tour price):

 

Optional Tour 1 : Grand Canyon West Rim COACH Tour with Skywalk ($193 per person)

Duration of Tour: 13-14 hours 

Pick Up Time : 6 am from hotel

Your drive to Grand Canyon West will take you over the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge and into the state of Arizona. Make sure you have your camera ready for pictures of the dam, Lake Mead, and the mighty Colorado River. There are three sections at Grand Canyon West: Eagle Point, Guano Point, and the Hualapai Ranch. Eagle Point contains the most notable attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass bridge that suspends 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon floor. There is a walking tour through authentic Native American dwellings, an amphitheater with live Native American performances from multiples tribes continuously throughout the day, and handmade Native American jewelry and crafts. The Hop-On-Hop-Off shuttle service will take you to the other points. At Guano Point, you can take the “Highpoint Hike,” which offers breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River , or you can eat lunch on the edge of the canyon. The last stop is the Hualapai Ranch where you enter the Wild West and enjoy western hospitality, cowboy entertainment, wagon rides, and more. 

Optional Tour 2 : Grand Canyon West Rim Coach Tour with Skywalk and Helicopter & River Boat Tour ($389 per person)

Duration of Tour: 13-14 hours including 15 minute Helicopter ride over Canyon as well as a 15 minute Pontoon ride over the Colorado river.

Pick Up Time : 6 am from hotel

Includes all attractions in Optional Tour 1 plus a short helicopter ride and Canyon river boat ride. Soar like a golden eagle through the Grand Canyon past Guano Point, descending below the rim of the canyon to Quartermaster Point. This 15-20 minute flight provides sights and views of rock formations and the Colorado River only available with this exclusive tour. Also enjoy a 15 to 20 minute Pontoon ride on the Colorado River cutting through the Canyon walls  

 

Optional Tour 3 : Air/Ground Tour of Grand Canyon West Rim with Skywalk ($349 per person)

Fly like an executive on a deluxe flight from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon West Rim aboard an elite airplane. At the Grand Canyon you can walk out on the glass-bottom Skywalk and you will visit Eagle Point and Guano Point. 

 

Optional Tour 4 : Air and Ground Tour of Grand Canyon South Rim ($365 per person)

Duration of Tour: 10 hours from Hotel to Hotel

Pick Up Time : Early morning tour. Depends on availability 

Fly like an executive on a deluxe flight from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon South Rim aboard an elite airplane. You will be picked up from the Vegas hotel & taken to Boulder city terminal where you will be checked in for your flight to South Rim. Your flight time is approximately 75 minutes flying over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead & Colorado River. After you land at the South terminal of the Canyon, a shuttle will take you to the Grand Canyon National Park. Enjoy a pristine view of the Canyon, enjoying nature at its best. Explore the many hidden view points on your own. Packed lunch is included in the cost.

 

Optional Tour 5 : Air and Ground Tour of Grand Canyon South Rim with Helicopter Ride ($535 per person)

Duration of Tour: 10 hours from Hotel to Hotel

Pick Up Time : Early morning tour. Depends on availability 

Includes all attractions in Optional Tour 4 plus a 25 to 30 minutes Helicopter ride over the Canyon giving you a glimpse of North & South Portion of the Rim along with Dragon Corridor, Tower of Ra & Vishnu Schist rock formations.

 

ADDITIONAL INFO FOR AIR/GROUND TOURS:

- Pilots are unable to assist passengers boarding and disembarking due to insurance regulations

- Children under the age of 2 are considered lap children. Proof of age will be required at the time of check-in. Please bring a copy of a birth certificate or passport.

- Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

- There is an additional fuel surcharge of $15 per person to be paid at the time of check-in.

DAY 09: LAS VEGAS - LOS ANGELES - SIGHTSEEING (B, D)

Check out from the hotel and after breakfast, transfer to Los Angeles. Enjoy some retail therapy at Ontario Mills, one of the top shopping and tourist destinations in Southern California. Shop at famous brands including J.Crew Factory, Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Abercrombie Fitch Outlet, Nike Factory Store and much more. Lunch on own.

Upon arrival in Los Angeles, visit the OUE Skyspace, California’s tallest open-air observation deck situated nearly 1,000 feet above the ground and the premiere destination for panoramic, 360-degree views of Los Angeles. You will be guided through a multi-dimensional, interactive experience, featuring unobstructed views, dynamic design and surprise thrills. You can also slide from one level of the building to another to get a glimpse of the city in all its visual glory.

 

Proceed on an expert guided tour of Los Angeles with our experienced tour guide. Drive through many famous attractions, including the Avenue of Stars, Dolby theater and Rodeo Drive. Get your picture of the famous Hollywood sign from one of the vantage points. 

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight in Los Angeles.

 

DAY 10: UNIVERSAL STUDIOS (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Universal Studios to enjoy a full day at the park. This sprawling amusement park with its thrilling theme rides, restaurants and shows also has one of the oldest real working movie studio in use and offers a unique & fun filled experience for the whole family. A trip to Universal Studios is like a trip into the heart of Hollywood. With films and TV shows always in production, one never knows who they might see wandering the sidewalks of the park. 

Leave the park in the afternoon (at approximately 3 pm) to proceed to Bakersfield, CA. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant on the way. Overnight in Bakersfield.

 

DAY 11: YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK - SAN FRANCISCO (B, D)

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Yosemite National Park (approximately 5 hours).


Yosemite National Park is the “Crown Jewel” of the United States National Parks system and one of the nation's most popular parks. The jaw-dropping head-turner of America’s national parks, and a Unesco World Heritage site, Yosemite is a visual feast of wild landscapes, beautiful vistas, and spectacular natural beauty. Its granite cliffs, great waterfalls, clear streams, Sequoia groves, pristine lakes and meadows inspire a sense of awe and reverence, and garner the devotion of all who enter - four million visitors wend their way to the country’s third-oldest national park annually. 

Marvel at the breathtaking beauty around you and learn about the history, wildlife and geology of Yosemite Valley’s most famous sights. Sit back, relax and discover Yosemite National Park’s incredible scenery and hidden secrets.

After the tour, drive to San Mateo (approximately 4.5 hours) and check in to the hotel. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant en route. Overnight in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

DAY 12: SAN FRANCISCO SIGHTSEEING WITH CRUISE (B, D)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to San Francisco for a full day tour of the city that is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in America. 

 

Take the San Francisco Bay Cruise, an exciting cruise of the bay sailing past historical and breathtaking sights such as the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz island, Downtown, Marina etc.

Go on an expert guided city tour visiting the famous landmarks of the city including Fisherman’s Wharf, Nob hill, Financial district, Lombard Street, China Town and Golden Gate Bridge Park.

Enjoy an exciting ride on the famous San Francisco cable car, the world’s last manually operated Cable car system, for a ride like no other in the world (if operational). 

Enjoy a spectacular view of San Francisco from Twin peaks, the two prominent hills with an elevation of about 925 feet (282 m) located near the geographic center of San Francisco and offering one of the best views of the city. 

End the tour with a visit to The Flyer SF at Pier 39 for a fun and exciting interactive experience with the whole group. 

Later, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to your hotel. Overnight in San Francisco.

 

DAY 13: SAN FRANCISCO – DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel (check out time is 11 am). The hotel offers complimentary shuttle to the airport. Please check with the bell desk regarding shuttle timings. If you have any early flight & no shuttle is operational, please take a cab on own. (Shuttle timings is from 5 AM to 9 PM). Breakfast is not available if you are taking an early flight.

Tips To The Driver: $14 per person on the East Coast and $12 per person on the West Coast, for the entire tour. Should be handed over to the tour director. This cannot be pre-paid.

Flight Information

Domestic/International flights are not included in the tour cost. Travelers are free to book their flights on own with any airline of their choice. Please note that complimentary pickup from the airport is available for passengers arriving by flight only.

Arrive on Thursday in New York (JFK airport). Fly from Buffalo International airport (BUF) to Las Vegas (LAS airport) on Wednesday the following week. Depart from San Francisco International airport (SFO) on Tuesday the week after. 

Airport private transfers for arrivals and departures are available from 6 am.

The preferred time of arrival at New York JFK is between 1 pm and 4 pm. If you arrive later than 5 pm (for domestic arrivals) or 4 pm (international arrivals), you might miss the itinerary scheduled for Day 1.

Departure from Buffalo International airport (BUF) can be anytime in the morning (hotel checkout time is 11 am) but arrival in Las Vegas (LAS) should be before 4:30 pm. If you arrive later than 5 pm, you might miss the itinerary scheduled for the day.

Transfer to SFO for departure is via complimentary hotel shuttle. The shuttle departs from the hotel every hour on the hour from 5 am to 9 pm. Hotel check out time is 11 am.

 

An additional charge will apply for pick-up and transfer from Newark airport (EWR) and La Guardia airport (LGA). If you are arriving at Newark (EWR), please make sure that your arrival time is before 3 pm.

• Price per person is based on two adults traveling together and sharing a room.
• 25% price reduction will apply to third and fourth adults occupying a room.

• Single travelers will have to pay an additional $900 single supplement.

• The equivalent price in INR is calculated at the prevailing exchange rate.

• Child (2 - 11 years) must share a room with adults.
• There is no charge for infants (0 - 23 months) to join the tour.

• Maximum occupancy per room is four persons (including infants). See the FAQ for information on room types and occupancy rules.

• There will be no coach service on Days 1 & 2 since the attractions are within easy walking distance to the hotel, and on Days 1 & 6 since alternative transportation will be provided to the attractions.

• Travelers are allowed one piece of luggage per person (big suitcase) and one carry on.

• Dinners will be at Indian restaurants where the passengers can choose VEG/JAIN/Non VEG option.

• Dinners are laid out buffet style, except JAIN meals, which will be brought to the table.

• Please note that we will make every effort for early check in for passengers coming in early but this is not guaranteed & is at the hotel’s discretion & availability. 

• Please note that guests may have to give their Credit card/cash at some of the hotels towards incidentals. No charges are levied unless the guests use some of the services other than not included in the package.

• Any special disability requirements should be made aware at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but cannot be held responsible in the event we are unable to do so.

• Surcharge of $15 per person is applicable for bookings made less than 10 days prior to tour departure

• There is no refund for any missed portion of the tour.

• Please note that some of the rooms may not have coffee/tea makers. Assigning rooms is at Hotel’s discretion.

• Wi-Fi Internet service is provided by the Hotels and Coach company (available in 55 seater coaches only). We are not responsible for any lapse in service.

• The opening and closing dates for the Maid of the Mist boat ride depends on ice conditions. Please check the latest operating schedule online at www.maidofthemist.com

• Grand Canyon tours are operated on SIC basis by local suppliers and are subject to cancellation or delays due to lack of passenger count, weather, etc. OpenWinds shall not be responsible for any missed portions of the tour caused by operational delays. In the event your Grand Canyon tour is cancelled by the operator, you will receive a refund. OpenWinds shall not be responsible for providing alternative tour arrangements when the operator cancels the tour.

• In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in a hotel of similar category

• Tour is operated by OpenWinds fully licensed and qualified tour operator partner.

• The routing of this Tour may be amended due to operational reasons. However, all mentioned services will remain unchanged.

Cancellation Charges
• 20% of the tour cost if cancellation request is received more than 30 calendar days prior to departure
• 50% of the tour cost if cancellation request is received between 11 and 30 calendar days prior to departure 
• 100% of the tour cost if cancellation request is received within 11 days of departure
• All cancellations will incur an additional processing fee of $100
